Navya Goenka is a student of Bombay International School who has a penchant for learning new languages, and is keen to understand the world through both the lenses of STEM and Humanities. Finding Psychology to be the common ground between the two, Navya’s interests led her to exploring gender and the role it plays in mental health and well being.
Outside of academia, Navya is a prolific writer, and is authoring a series of articles about the mental health challenges faced by teenagers, especially focusing on anxiety, stress, and burnout.
Navya is also an accomplished pianist and singer, and has been training for the past decade, developing her musical skills. She is an ABRSM Grade 6 certified pianist, receiving a merit in her exams.
Navya’s interests even extend to the badminton court, and she has been playing under Coach Pooja, and has played competitions such as the Motiram, Ullal, and Kanji Cup and the Willingdon Handicap Tournament.
